ADDITIONAL REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS
Effective Date: 10 June 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
This Additional Registry Requirements Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the GoDomains Terms & Conditions, Domain Registration Agreement, and related policies.
Different domain extensions are governed by different registry operators, registrars, regulatory authorities, dispute resolution providers, and governing bodies.
By registering, renewing, transferring, restoring, managing, or using a domain name through GoDomains, you agree to comply with all applicable requirements associated with the selected domain extension.
2. APPLICABILITY
This Policy applies to all domain names offered by GoDomains, including domain extensions published from time to time on the GoDomains website and any domain extensions that may be offered in the future.
The availability of a domain extension through GoDomains does not alter the authority of the applicable registry operator, registrar, regulatory authority, or governing body responsible for that domain extension.
3. REGISTRY AUTHORITY
Each domain extension is governed by the policies, rules, procedures, operational requirements, and dispute resolution mechanisms established by the applicable:

Registry operator;

Registrar;
-
Regulatory authority;
-
Government authority;
-
Dispute resolution provider;
-
Governing body.
Such requirements may change from time to time without notice.
Registrants agree to comply with all applicable requirements associated with the selected domain extension.
4. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Certain domain extensions may impose eligibility requirements relating to:

Nationality;
-
Residency;
-
Business registration;
-
Industry affiliation;
-
Professional qualifications;
-
Licensing status;
-
Educational institution status;
-
Government authorization;
-
Other registry-specific qualifications.
GoDomains may request supporting documentation before or after registration.
Failure to satisfy eligibility requirements may result in:

Suspension;
-
Cancellation;
-
Transfer restrictions;
-
Denial of registration services.
5. VERIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Registrants may be required to provide:

Identity documentation;

Business registration certificates;

Proof of address;

Licensing documentation;

Eligibility documentation;
-
Verification information required by a registry, registrar, or governing authority.
Failure to comply with verification requirements may result in suspension, cancellation, restriction, or denial of services.
6. REGISTRATION PERIODS
Registration periods, renewal periods, grace periods, redemption periods, restoration procedures, and expiration procedures vary between domain extensions.
Such periods are determined by the applicable registry and may change from time to time.
GoDomains does not guarantee that expired domain names can be restored, renewed, or recovered.
7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEDURES
Certain domain extensions may be subject to:

Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP);

Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS);

Registry-specific dispute resolution procedures;

Trademark dispute procedures;

Registrants agree to be bound by all dispute resolution procedures applicable to the selected domain extension.
8. SPECIALIZED REGISTRY POLICIES
Certain domain extensions may be subject to additional requirements relating to:

Reserved names;
-
Premium names;
-
Naming conventions;
-
Rights protection mechanisms;

Industry-specific requirements;

Registrants agree to comply with all specialized requirements applicable to the selected domain extension.
9. BAHRAIN NAMESPACE DOMAINS
Domain names registered within the Bahrain namespace, including domain extensions administered under the authority of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain, are subject to applicable registry policies, regulations, procedures, eligibility requirements, dispute resolution procedures, and operational requirements.
Registrants agree to comply with all such requirements as amended from time to time.
10. COUNTRY-CODE DOMAIN EXTENSIONS
Country-code domain extensions (ccTLDs) may be subject to additional requirements imposed by:

National registries;
-
Telecommunications authorities;
-
Government agencies;
-
Regulatory authorities;
-
Registry operators;
-
Applicable national laws.
Registrants agree to comply with all applicable requirements associated with the selected domain extension.
11. GENERIC TOP-LEVEL DOMAINS
Generic top-level domains (“gTLDs”) offered through GoDomains, including domain extensions published from time to time on the GoDomains website at www.godomains.bh/domains, may be subject to:

ICANN policies;

Registry operator requirements;
-
Registrar requirements;
-
Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP);
-
Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS);
-
Rights protection mechanisms;
-
Consensus policies;
-
Registry-specific requirements;
-
Additional verification and eligibility requirements.
Registrants agree to comply with all requirements applicable to the selected domain extension.
The domain extensions offered by GoDomains may change from time to time and the publication of a domain extension on the GoDomains website does not limit the applicability of this Policy to future domain extensions offered by GoDomains.
12. REGISTRY ACTIONS
GoDomains may suspend, lock, hold, transfer, disable, modify, cancel, or otherwise take action regarding a domain name where required by:

Registry operators;

Registrars;
-
Regulatory authorities;
-
Government authorities;
-
Courts;
-
Law enforcement agencies;
-
Dispute resolution providers;
-
Applicable laws.
Registrants acknowledge that such actions may occur without prior notice where required or reasonably necessary.
13. CHANGES TO REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS
Registry operators, registrars, regulatory authorities, and governing bodies may amend their requirements from time to time.
Such amendments shall automatically apply to affected domain name registrations upon becoming effective.
14. CONFLICTS
Where a registry, registrar, regulatory, legal, or dispute resolution requirement conflicts with any GoDomains policy, the applicable registry, registrar, regulatory, legal, or dispute resolution requirement shall prevail to the extent necessary to comply with that requirement.

- Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) any material that acts as a passive or active information collection or transmission mechanism, including without limitation, clear graphics interchange formats (‘gifs’), 1×1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, or other similar devices (sometimes referred to as ‘spyware’ or ‘passive collection mechanisms’ or ‘pcms’).
- Except as may be the result of standard search engine or Internet browser usage, use, launch, develop, or distribute any automated system, including without limitation, any spider, robot, cheat utility, scraper, or offline reader that accesses the Services, or using or launching any unauthorised script or other software.
- Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the Services.
- Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
- Sell or otherwise transfer your profile.
- Use a buying agent or purchasing agent to make purchases on the Services.
CONSEQUENCES OF BREACHING THIS POLICY
The consequences for violating our Policy will vary depending on the severity of the breach and the user’s history on the Services, by way of example:
We may, in some cases, give you a warning, however, if your breach is serious or if you continue to breach our Legal Terms and this Policy, we have the right to suspend or terminate your access to and use of our Services and, if applicable, disable your account. We may also notify law enforcement or issue legal proceedings against you when we believe that there is a genuine risk to an individual or a threat to public safety.
We exclude our liability for all action we may take in response to any of your breaches of this Policy.
