REFUND & CHARGEBACK POLICY

Effective Date: 10 June 2026

1. INTRODUCTION

This Refund & Chargeback Policy forms part of the GoDomains Terms & Conditions and applies to all products and services provided by Cloudme Digital Co. W.L.L., trading as GoDomains (“GoDomains”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By purchasing or using any Service, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Chargeback Policy.

2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

Due to the nature of digital products, domain registrations, third-party services, software licenses, cloud infrastructure, and electronic provisioning, many Services become non-refundable immediately upon successful activation, registration, provisioning, or delivery.

Refund eligibility depends on the specific product or service purchased and the circumstances of the request.

Approval of any refund request remains at the sole discretion of GoDomains unless otherwise required by applicable law.

3. NON-REFUNDABLE SERVICES

The following Services are strictly non-refundable once an order has been successfully processed, provisioned, registered, renewed, transferred, activated, issued, or delivered:

Domain Services

  • Domain registrations

  • Domain renewals

  • Domain transfers

  • Domain restorations

  • Domain backorders

  • Premium domains

  • Reserved domains

  • Registry fees

  • ICANN fees

  • Registry redemption fees

  • Domain privacy services where activated

Security Services

  • SSL certificates

  • Code signing certificates

  • Security certificates

  • Security products once issued or activated

Productivity Services

  • Google Workspace subscriptions once provisioned

  • Microsoft 365 subscriptions once provisioned

  • Email service subscriptions once provisioned

  • Third-party software licenses

  • Digital subscriptions

Professional Services

  • Consultancy

  • Technical support services

  • Migration services

  • Configuration services

  • Managed services

  • Development services

  • Design services

4. HOSTING, VPS, AND CLOUD SERVICES

Shared Hosting

Shared hosting services may be eligible for a refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of initial purchase, provided:

  • The account remains active;

  • No abuse has occurred;

  • The request is submitted in writing.

Renewals are non-refundable.

VPS Services

Virtual Private Servers, cloud servers, and infrastructure services are generally non-refundable once provisioned.

In exceptional circumstances, GoDomains may issue a partial or full refund at its sole discretion.

Cloud Hosting Services

Managed cloud hosting and related infrastructure services become non-refundable once resources have been allocated and provisioned.

5. DUPLICATE PAYMENTS & BILLING ERRORS

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, you must notify GoDomains as soon as reasonably possible.

Where GoDomains determines that:

  • A duplicate payment occurred;

  • An administrative error occurred;

  • A technical billing error occurred;

GoDomains may issue a full or partial refund as appropriate.

6. FRAUD PREVENTION

GoDomains reserves the right to:

  • Delay refunds;

  • Refuse refunds;

  • Request identity verification;

  • Request proof of payment;

  • Request supporting documentation;

where fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or suspicious transactions are suspected.

7. CHARGEBACKS

Customers agree to contact GoDomains and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve any billing dispute before initiating a chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute.

Where a chargeback is initiated:

  • GoDomains may suspend Services;

  • GoDomains may lock domain names;

  • GoDomains may suspend hosting services;

  • GoDomains may suspend customer accounts;

  • GoDomains may restrict future purchases.

Until the chargeback dispute is fully resolved.

8. FRAUDULENT OR IMPROPER CHARGEBACKS

If a chargeback is determined to be fraudulent, abusive, unfounded, or otherwise improper, GoDomains reserves the right to:

  • Recover the disputed amount;

  • Recover administrative costs;

  • Recover chargeback processing fees;

  • Recover legal costs where permitted by law;

  • Suspend or terminate Services;

  • Restrict future purchases.

9. REFUND METHOD

Approved refunds will generally be issued using the original payment method whenever reasonably possible.

Where this is not possible, GoDomains may provide:

  • Account credit;

  • Store credit;

  • Alternative refund methods.

Refund processing times depend on payment processors, banks, card issuers, and financial institutions.

10. ACCOUNT CREDITS

Promotional credits, bonus credits, referral credits, goodwill credits, and account credits have no cash value unless expressly stated otherwise.

Such credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

11. SERVICE SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION

No refund shall be due where Services are suspended, restricted, or terminated due to:

  • Violation of Terms & Conditions;

  • Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy;

  • Fraud;

  • Abuse;

  • Illegal activity;

  • Security incidents;

  • Registry or regulatory actions.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

Refunds shall not be required where Service interruption, degradation, delay, suspension, or unavailability results from a Force Majeure Event as defined in the Terms & Conditions.

13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

GoDomains may modify this Refund & Chargeback Policy at any time.

Updated versions become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
