DOMAIN ABUSE & DISPUTE POLICY
Effective Date: 10 June 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
This Domain Abuse & Dispute Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the GoDomains Terms & Conditions, Domain Registration Agreement, Acceptable Use Policy, and related policies.
This Policy applies to all domain names registered, renewed, transferred, managed, or otherwise maintained through GoDomains.
By registering or managing a domain name through GoDomains, the Registrant agrees to comply with this Policy.
2. PURPOSE
The purpose of this Policy is to:

Protect internet users;

Protect domain registrants;
-
Protect registry systems;
-
Prevent abuse and unlawful activity;
-
Facilitate compliance with applicable laws, registry requirements, and dispute resolution procedures;

Maintain the security, stability, and integrity of domain name systems.
3. DOMAIN ABUSE
Domain names may not be used for activities that threaten internet users, registries, service providers, or third parties.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
Fraud and Deception

Fraudulent schemes;

Impersonation;
-
Consumer deception;
-
Identity theft;
-
Financial fraud;
-
Investment scams;
-
Business email compromise.
Phishing
-
Credential harvesting;
-
Fake login portals;
-
Brand impersonation;
-
Email phishing campaigns;
-
Social engineering attacks.
Malware
-
Malware distribution;
-
Ransomware;
-
Trojan horses;
-
Spyware;
-
Botnets;
-
Malicious scripts;
-
Malicious downloads.
Spam
-
Unsolicited commercial email;
-
Mass unsolicited messaging;
-
Email abuse;
-
SMS abuse;
-
Spam-related activities.
Illegal Activities

Child exploitation;
-
Human trafficking;
-
Terrorism-related activities;
-
Illegal gambling;
-
Sale of unlawful goods or services;

Activities prohibited by law.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLAINTS
Domain names may not be used to infringe:

Trademarks;
-
Copyrights;
-
Trade names;
-
Service marks;
-
Intellectual property rights.
GoDomains may investigate complaints alleging infringement and may take action where reasonably necessary.
GoDomains does not determine ownership of trademarks or intellectual property rights and may defer disputes to courts, arbitration panels, registry operators, or applicable dispute resolution procedures.
5. DOMAIN NAME DISPUTES
Certain domain names may be subject to dispute resolution procedures, including:

Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP);

Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS);
-
Registry-specific dispute policies;
-
Telecommunications Regulatory Authority procedures;
-
Court proceedings;
-
Arbitration proceedings;
-
Administrative proceedings.
Registrants agree to be bound by all applicable dispute resolution procedures associated with the relevant domain extension.
6. COMPLAINTS AND REPORTS
Complaints may be submitted to:
Reports should include sufficient information to allow investigation, including:

Domain name;
-
Description of the issue;
-
Supporting evidence;
-
Relevant dates and times;
-
Contact details of the complainant.
GoDomains may request additional information before taking action.
7. INVESTIGATIONS
GoDomains may investigate reports involving:
-
Phishing;
-
Malware;
-
Spam;
-
Fraud;
-
Intellectual property infringement;
-
Registry policy violations;
-
Security incidents;
-
Court orders;
-
Regulatory requests;
-
Other abuse-related matters.
Registrants agree to cooperate with reasonable requests for information during investigations.
Failure to cooperate may result in enforcement action.
8. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
Where abuse is suspected or confirmed, GoDomains may take any action reasonably necessary to protect customers, internet users, registries, infrastructure providers, or the public.
Such actions may include:

Warning notices;
-
Suspension of services;
-
Domain lock status;
-
Client hold status;
-
Registry hold requests;
-
Transfer restrictions;
-
DNS suspension;
-
Domain suspension;
-
Domain cancellation;
-
Disclosure of information where legally required.
GoDomains may act without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary.
9. REGISTRY AND REGULATORY AUTHORITY
GoDomains may suspend, lock, transfer, disable, modify, cancel, or otherwise take action regarding a domain name where required by:

Registry operators;
-
Registrars;
-
Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Bahrain;
-
Courts;
-
Government authorities;
-
Law enforcement agencies;
-
Dispute resolution providers;
-
Applicable laws and regulations.
Registrants acknowledge that GoDomains may be required to comply with such requests without prior notice.
10. TRADEMARK AND COPYRIGHT CLAIMS
Receipt of a trademark or copyright complaint does not automatically result in domain suspension.
GoDomains may:

Request additional evidence;
-
Refer the matter to appropriate dispute resolution procedures;
-
Refer the matter to legal proceedings;
-
Take interim measures where necessary.
Nothing in this Policy obligates GoDomains to adjudicate intellectual property disputes.
11. NO LIABILITY
GoDomains shall not be liable for losses arising from actions taken in good faith under this Policy, including:

Domain suspensions;
-
Domain locks;
-
Transfer restrictions;
-
Registry actions;
-
Court-ordered actions;
-
Regulatory actions;
-
Dispute resolution outcomes.
12. INDEMNIFICATION
The Registrant agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GoDomains, Cloudme Digital Co. W.L.L., its officers, directors, employees, contractors, service providers, registrars, registries, and affiliated parties from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and legal fees arising from:

Registration of a domain name;

Use of a domain name;
-
Content associated with a domain name;
-
Violation of this Policy;
-
Violation of applicable laws;
-
Infringement of third-party rights.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
GoDomains may modify this Policy from time to time.
Updated versions become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
Continued use of domain registration services constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

When you use the Services you warrant that you will comply with this Policy and with all applicable laws.

- Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Services or the networks or the Services connected.

- Use the Services as part of any effort to compete with us or otherwise use the Services and/or the Content for any revenue-generating endeavour or commercial enterprise.
- Decipher, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or in any way making up a part of the Services, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Attempt to bypass any measures of the Services designed to prevent or restrict access to the Services, or any portion of the Services.
- Harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of our employees or agents engaged in providing any portion of the Services to you.
- Delete the copyright or other proprietary rights notice from any Content.
- Copy or adapt the Services’ software, including but not limited to Flash, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, or other code.
- Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) viruses, Trojan horses, or other material, including excessive use of capital letters and spamming (continuous posting of repetitive text), that interferes with any party’s uninterrupted use and enjoyment of the Services or modifies, impairs, disrupts, alters, or interferes with the use, features, functions, operation, or maintenance of the Services.
- Upload or transmit (or attempt to upload or to transmit) any material that acts as a passive or active information collection or transmission mechanism, including without limitation, clear graphics interchange formats (‘gifs’), 1×1 pixels, web bugs, cookies, or other similar devices (sometimes referred to as ‘spyware’ or ‘passive collection mechanisms’ or ‘pcms’).
- Except as may be the result of standard search engine or Internet browser usage, use, launch, develop, or distribute any automated system, including without limitation, any spider, robot, cheat utility, scraper, or offline reader that accesses the Services, or using or launching any unauthorised script or other software.
- Disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the Services.
- Use the Services in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.
- Sell or otherwise transfer your profile.
- Use a buying agent or purchasing agent to make purchases on the Services.
CONSEQUENCES OF BREACHING THIS POLICY
The consequences for violating our Policy will vary depending on the severity of the breach and the user’s history on the Services, by way of example:
We may, in some cases, give you a warning, however, if your breach is serious or if you continue to breach our Legal Terms and this Policy, we have the right to suspend or terminate your access to and use of our Services and, if applicable, disable your account. We may also notify law enforcement or issue legal proceedings against you when we believe that there is a genuine risk to an individual or a threat to public safety.
We exclude our liability for all action we may take in response to any of your breaches of this Policy.
